Jane Wafer is an Oxford-based artist working mainly in 3D sculpture and installation. She studied Fine Art at Oxford Brookes University, gaining a first class honours degree in 2009. She has exhibited in outdoor and gallery settings in the UK and Italy.
 Jane also holds a doctorate in biology, reflecting a life-long interest in the natural sciences, which continues to influence her art practice. She was Artist in Residence at The RHS Gardens in June 2014, and previously participated in the  Aylesbury Vale Biodiversity Project (2011) and  Pestival  (2009) at the Royal Festival Hall, London.
 The artist uses a variety of materials, both natural and man-made, sometimes combining them to make 'synthetic hybrids.'
 Her latest body of work explores the connection between mathematics, aesthetics and natural forms.
